The 2007 Girls Flag FB season is upon us and games will be starting in early
March. Following is our meeting schedule for pre-season registration and
test-prep:

Monday, February 5th, 7PM, cafeteria, South Plantation HS.

Monday, February 12th, 6:15PM, cafeteria, South Plantation HS

Monday, February 26th, 8PM, cafeteria, South Plantation HS

The mandatory rules video is on-line beginning February 1st and will stream
on-line daily thru February 23rd. Go to the FHSAA.org website and click-on to
the "e classroom" icon either on the home page or click-on the "officials" box
and find e classroom there and follow the prompts. Make sure you print a
certificate when completed for proof, if required. We will NOT be showing the
rules video at either pre-season meeting so you must do it on-line on your
computer or do it at someone else's.

If you have not registered for Flag FB while doing a fall or winter sport, you
must register prior March 17th, 2007. Registration can be done on-line at the
same FHSAA.org website. You can also download the paper form and mail it in if
you'd prefer for an extra fee.

If you have not been cleared pursuant to the Jessica Lunsford Act of 2005 by the
BCAA School Board, you must be finger-printed and submit to a background check
at the School Board office(KC Wright Bldg.)at the SE corner of SE 3rd Ave. and
6th ST., diagonally across the street from the county courthouse in downtown
Ft. Lauderdale. Any questions regarding this and costs, please direct to Ms.
Fay Shuler at the BCAA, 754-321-1202. You will not be assigned any games until
you are cleared.

Please congratulate five of our officials who worked the State Championships at
West Boca HS, May 5th and 6th, 2006. Ed Magan, John Craven, Bryan Davis and
Dave Dunning worked a quarter-final game between Seminole Ridge and Lakewood on
the 5th and Magan,Craven, Pete Walker and Dunning worked the State
Championship(our first for BCAA)game, May 6th, won by Miramar, 26-19 over
Lakewood.
